Cannot update firmware via Energia to MSP-EXP430FR5969 (Rev 2)

When I attempt to upload blink.ino I am prompted to update the device firmware.

I then attempt to update via energia:

This same error occurs across multiple machines as well as in version 12 of energia. I have updated the firmware via CCS and am able to flash the device there, however even after updating there Energia still prompts me with the above issue.  I have tried this on 5 devices of the same make/ model all with the same result.

    The version of MSP Debug Stack shipping with Energia is still way outdated.  I've heard it should be updated by the next release.  For now you might try copying CCSv6's MSP430.dll (C:\ti\ccsv6\ccs_base\DebugServer\drivers\MSP430.dll) into the mspdebug folder, e.g. C:\energia-0101E0013\hardware\tools\msp430\mspdebug\ ... make a backup copy of the original MSP430.dll in that folder just in case.
