We made our PCB with the MSP430F5438 to (among other things) drive a Monochrome Sharp memory LCD 1.26 inch. We now decided to integrate the new AUO OLED 1.63 inch 320x320 MIPI DSI (Part number X163QLN01) into our possible crowd-funding project. But this complicates things a lot. First the MIPI DSI support. This will be done by the SSD2805, but then we wandered if the MSP430 will be big enough to drive this OLED. We would definitely not be displaying video content on this small display, but 320x320 images like in a carrousel photo-album manner.
