How to EXIT BSL on the F5338

To enter the BSL, applying the appropriate sequence on the RST and TEST pins does the trick. From there, I can erase and program the flash.

But to execute the newly flashed program, I must cycle the power off and on; the normal toggle of the RST pin does not work.

Is there a way to exit the BSL other than a power off ?

On 5x family, the PMM has a control bit to trigger a software-initiated POR or BOR. Just tell the BSL to write to this register (and unlock the PMM before!) and the device should reset.
However, I wonder why toggling RST doesn’t work.

Besides this, you can tell the BSL to simply jump to the application start. But this won’t re-initialize the hardware that was used and changed by the BSL.

I tried it and it worked : I toggle the RST pin and while RST is down, I toggle the TEST pin.
