FET firmware update and device initialisation Error in MSP430F5529 Launchpad

We are a team from tiic idc 2015 with team id 1383 and project titled "Smart And Barrier Free Toll Tax System" . We are working on MSP-EXP430F5529LP(Launch Pad) . While working with gas sensor(MQ7) our controller just  got heat up a bit. And now we are getting an error while uploading any program

ERROR-

FET firmware update is required Re-run with--allow-fw-update to perform a firmware update.

tilib: device initialization failed

and also a dialog box appears with error - The firmware of your Launchpad programmer needs an update .You will need to update before you upload your sketch.To update select "Update programmer " from the "Tools" menu.

After following the same we get _ Error while updating programmer occurs

Please help me with this problem as we have to submit the video for tiic idc 2015 before 8th March,2015.

    You are posting on a TI E2E MSP430 Forum. Member here are just Engineers trying to help each other on technical subjects related to TI MSP430. I have no idea what is tiic idc 2015, I do not know what is team id 1383 I do not know anything about "Smart And Barrier Free Toll Tax System".

    If the same hardware worked previously, and if reflashing does not help, then it appears that the heat has destroyed the device. Get a new LaunchPad.
