Is it required in the MSPFR6972 to place 0.1µF caps between the analog LCD voltages V1-V3 and GND, as recommended for the MSP430FR4133?

    Hi Daniel,

    No - the MSP430FR6972 has a different LCD module than the MSP430FR4133. MSP430FR4133 has LCD_E which is the only MSP430 LCD module that requires these additional caps. LCD_C on FR6972 does not have this requirement. If there are any requirements like this, they will be listed in the datasheet section for the LCD module under "Peripheral and Interface-Specific Design Information". As you can see, this requirement is not listed for FR6972.
