MSP430FG4618 API / Driver Library availability

Hello!

I and a colleague are working on a project for university using the MSP430FG4618 Exp. Board. We would like to ask a couple of questions. Is there any driver library or API for this micro-controller?

We had a look at the following links: http://software-dl.ti.com/msp430/msp430_public_sw/mcu/msp430/MSP430_Driver_Library/latest/index_FDS.html and http://software-dl.ti.com/msp430/msp430_public_sw/mcu/msp430/MSP430ware/latest/index_FDS.html .

The devices of the family MSP430FR2xx_4xx have their own driver libraries available. Does the family include the MSP430FG4618, too? If not, are those drivers easy to adapt to work with our micro-controller?

    Umberto,

    Driver Library does not support any MSP430x4xx devices including the MSP430FG4618. Thank you for your interest and I will bring it to the attention of the developers. You may be able to reuse some of the code written for the MSP4305xx/6xx Driver Library but we do not officially support the MSP430x4xx product line with Driver Library.
