Mpu9150 with msp430g2553

MSPWare has I2C examples and can be downloaded here from the TI site.

The MCU has build-in resistors but they are probably too weak, use external pull-up’s of about 4.7KOhm.

The are so many examples and each one of them is for msp430 to msp430 communication.
Which one shall I use?
The Master Msp430 Rx from slave msp430?

You need Master in your MSP430G2553.
‘msp430g2xx3_uscib0_i2c_01’ could be a good starting point.

I tried to use that program. I just removed the if else condition to check for 28. I applied a breakpoint to read Rxword. But i could not get any data.
I have used two seperate pull up resistors also.
