More specific, we see following offerings from TI, MSP430F2619S-HT and SM470R1B1m-HT. We are wondering whether vxWorks can be used on them. If not, any other options from TI?

vxWorks is currently not supported in the MSP platform. Please go here to view the supported RTOS's: www.ti.com/.../tools_software.page

With regards to the rest of TI, I'm not aware of any support for vxWorks but feel free to ask around on some of the other forums.

With regards to a CAN bus, MSP doesn't support a integrated hardware CAN Bus, but instead we have a software based CAN controller.
