TX at 1Mb/s. Can anyone point to good examples. Maybe setting the UART in SPI mode, and trigger DMA to TX data.
Any example code that does a similar function would be great.
Or any suggestion for a better implementation.

SPI and UART are completely different things. As far as I remember there aren't examples for using the DMA in the code examples you can download on the product website. At least I have not seen any so far. Which processor are you using? In general, the DMA can source the UART, of course.

No, the DMA is the best you can do when streaming large amounts of data with high speed.
