I have a basic question as I have not gone through this earlier, If I have built an application what are the steps to be taken care of before doing a final release is there any manual / guide mentioning about build a release version of software.
Or is it just that the required optimization setting is done and build a release version and the binary will be available in .out format and only that can be considered as a final release.
More than the above point, I wanted to know if there is anyway of flashing that .out into the controller (in my case msp430G2955) without the CCS being installed. like in production without installing CCS can they flash the application.
