Selecting right Low power microcontroller

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC2541, MSP430FR2033, CC2650

hi,

i'm working on some wireless based application. we chose BLE technology to implement for our wireless data transmission. Regarding to that, i want to know which low power microcontroller i can use for interfacing my wireless MCU(CC2541)?

Or else the CC2541 Wireless MCU Itself can be programmed without any support of microcontroller?

Anyhow i need to do mixed signal operations in my application. so can i use MSP430FR2033 microcontroller?

  • I would suggest to check CC2650 instead. There's starter kit named sensortag too

  • Thank you so much dude.
Actually i need 5 BLE nodes as slave for continous monitoring of 5 different sources, so i wanted to use CC2541 for the slave nodes and that nodes has to be connected with one Low power microcontroller. So, i'm searching for those microcontrollers.

Now one more question is, Say i have some Kbps of transmission from sources, Is there the enough memory for Buffering the receiving packets from the sources?
  • Sorry i forgot to add this also,
the memory space i asked is able to store the received packets for the past one second in the slave node itself and provide the reading facilities of past one second data packets for Master (Microcontroller)?
if it is not possible, What may be the maximum bytes of data i can store in CC2541 until the next Master read is going to happen without the help of any external memory
  • >Thank you so much dude.
    definitely not your dude
