MSP430F5529 Micro controller not enumerating

Ashok here....

I am using the Micro controller(MC) MSP430F5529 in one of the baseboard for the keyboard interface.The USB Port of the MC is connected to PC.I am programming the MC using the launch pad MSP430F5529LP using the cable interface to baseboard.The programming status is showing the PASS.

But the PC not recognize the HID Keyboard interface.Same program i am flashing in the launch pad MSP430F5529LP and PC recognize it as HID Keyboard interface.

Is there any issue related to enumeration of the Micro controller(MC) MSP430F5529?

Please help .....

Ashok,

If you check the device manager, do you get USB or HID device that failed to enumerate properly (and disappears when you unplug the keyboard)? This will help show if there is a hardware connection problem, or if it might be in software or driver related.

I am not getting HID or USB device in my baseboard.

But in MSP430 luanchpad i am getting HID keyboard interface.

What is the role of 32. 768khz crystal. Is it necessary to mount it.

This crystal can provide an accurate ACLK which can be used by the FLL to generate higher frequency DCOCLK. But for BSL interface, a 12MHz (or a few other options) crystal should be included.

Compare your keyboard base board circuit with your F5529 LP circuit. The difference may be significant.

Circuit Checked.Found no difference.

Is it require to install the MC USB Device driver separately?

If available,where i can get the device driver?

HID does not require a no special driver.

Please show the schematic of your circuit.

Does the resonator run?

Can you debug the program? How far does enumeration go?

Thanks. The ESD component was created wrongly.I removed the component & now the MC getting enumerated.
