F6459 LCDCAP capacitor

Hi Folks,

The datasheet states that a 4.7uF capacitor must be connect between the LCDCAP pin and ground when the internal charge pump in enabled.

Please advise which is the preferred type of capacitor for this application, ceramic or electrolytic?

Hi Carlo!

There are no special requirements for this capacitor, so the used type is up to you. I would use a ceramic MLCC like this:

Dennis is correct, there is no restriction on the capacitor type.
