I would just like to take a moment to let MSP430 users know about a blog post and white paper I've written about unit testing with the MSP430. I've been developing with the platform for about 2 years now, and all of my development has been test-driven, where a continuous build system runs unit testing upon every commit.
I've found it extremely useful to develop in this manner, and with a few tricks, unit testing interrupts and timers can be accomplished within a desktop environment.
