MSP430F5528: Getting "unknown device" while trying to flash MSP430F5528 on custom board with eZ-FET and USB Hub on F5529LP

Part Number: MSP430F5528
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MSP430F5529,

Hi,

I have been using the MSP430F5529 to design custom sensor boards for different projects, a several times. Because the chip is not provided in smaller packages (to my knowledge), I decided to replace it by the MSP430F5528 (ZQE package), using the circuit provided here (actually the same as when designing with the MSP430F5529). I need to mention that I am using the programmer on the F5529LP to flash the microcontrollers. The fact is that I am getting an "unknown device" message when trying to load codes on my new design. Knowing that it might be because of soldering issues, I would like to make sure that the circuit I use doesn't have any problem before exploring further. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, Lat
