MSP430F5528: Noob needs Directions

Hi,

I am completely new to ti microcontroller boards. I got a tdc1000-tdc7200evm from one of my friends. This board has a msp430f5528 built in it. Can the msp be directly programmed to blink an onboard LED? Also please tell which pins the onboard LEDs correspond to. Please share the code or syntax if possible.

Hi Vignesh,

The tdc1000-tdc7200evm is an evaluation module meant to showcase ultrasonic sensing of water flow/level/concentration. Are you planning on creating an application with these needs? If so there is a GUI available for this EVM: TDC1000-TDC7200EVM GUI v1.2.7.1 (Rev. F). I would also recommend reading through all the documentation on this board that can be found here.

If you're just trying to familiarize yourself with MSP430 in general, I recommend getting your hands on one of our LaunchPad development kits. The closest to the MSP430F5528 would be the MSP-EXP430F5529. We also offer examples for all MSP430 devices in MSP430Ware.
