Where can I find a suggested/sample PCB layout for the MSP430F54xx.
maybe the design files of the MSP430F5438 Experimenter Board (http://focus.ti.com/docs/toolsw/folders/print/msp-exp430f5438.html) are of good use for you.

you can use the MSP430F5438 Experimenter Board as a starting point. In SLAC288 are the complete schematics for eagle from this board and in the Users Guide you find good documentation about it.

Have a look on SLAC60. Revision D contains an Eagle lib with MSP430F54xx on housing PN80, PZ100 and ZQW113.
