MSP430F5510: Can't get CAD file form TI-Design file

Hi Sir,

I have tried to get CAD file from TI-Design TIDA-00609, and I followed the link ---TIDA-00609 CAD Files to downdoad the .zip file, but I still can't find the .DSN file.

Could you help on this? Thank you.

Hi Chentsu,

Is it not PP-CMBEVM_RevF.dsn from the PCB/Output/Gerber folder? Moving this thread to the Audio Amplifiers Forum for their expertise with this TID.

Yes, it is, but there is nothing after I open it.

Hello Chentsu,
You cannot find a .DSN file because it isn't a Cadence project. This board was done years ago when TI was still using Mentor Graphics Xpedition.
I don't know Cadence very well, but Altium has an import wizard that will help you open the .PCB file I would assume cadence has something similar. Do you need the Schematic also?

Hi Steve,

Yes, I need schematic for OrCAD, and I tried to import .PCB file to PADs but fail due to the version. Also I have tried to import .PCB to OrCAD but still failed.

There is no OrCAD files for this design. There was an effort to convert all of these files over to Altium format, but I think this one only made it halfway through, the Schematic should be good, but I dont think the pcb/layout is done.

here is the Altium project folder, and I'm afraid that is the extent of what I have to give you.
