[FAQ] MSP430F5528: ADC TLV gain and offset cal context

Hi,

Can someone clarify what temperature range the TLV ADC gain and offset parameters were intended for? Were these TLV parameters optimized from -40C to 85C or

at room temperature only?

I'll have to look into this. It seems like most of the ADC reference calibration is done at 30C and 80C. We give specific values for each reference though.

Thanks. Just to be clear. Those temperature specific specs that you are referring to are only relevant to the internal temperature sensor measurement.

What I'm interested in are the ADC gain factor and offset and how these are obtained in production (i.e. at room or over entire operating temperature range?).

Kelvin,

The gain and offset data are generated with very accurate external voltage at 30C.
However they are also valid for the entire range.

Please consider the UG for the F5529 how to use the calibration data.
