Can you advice what are the simplest means of editing the software of MSP430FR2422 and programming it available? (it will be assembler only)

Hi Linda,

They can of course use CCS to program in assembler or as an alternative they could use the IAR Embedded Workbench "Kickstart" edition.

The cloud version of CCS is also a good option where there is no need to download the IDE locally, it's also easy to pull in assembler based example projects from MSP430WARE section of Resource Explorer which is also available via the online cloud tools.

At the very simplest level, there is the free Naken Assembler. Very small, very fast., command line assembler. The format is a bit different from CCS and IAR.
