Hi, I want to store a variable as a persistent variable in desired location by using #pragma LOCATION and i want to initialize the variable.

irrespective of write permissions of corresponding segment. but in prjecct i got the value and in other project i did not get the value. any suggetions please

Hi Shivaram,

#pragma LOCATION allows you to specify the address of a variable, but it does not guarantee anything about whether that variable is persistent, uninitialized, or initialized. You'll want to specify address via #pragma LOCATION() as well as persistent via #pragma PERSISTENT().

As far as why it works in one project and not in another, can you post the source code of the two implementations?
