CCS/MSP432P401R: precision_ADC_MSP_EXP432P401R_nortos_ccs will not import and build with CCS 8.2

Hi All,

I am interested in trying this demo program:

I downloaded it, unzipped it, and tried to import it into CCS 8.2. I found I needed the SimpleLink libraries for this part, and I used the Resource Explorer to acquire SimpleLink MSP432P4 SDK v:2.30.00.14. Then I again tried to import it, and it did, but with errors. It won't build as it imported, as it can't find some files in the SimpleLink library it wants.

I'd really like to investigate how well this method works. Any hints?

Rob,

You are correct. There is a disconnect between the source files and the latest SDK. You have a couple of options.

(1) You can use the TI-RTOS example found here. The limitation is that this is only the 32x oversampling example.

(2) You can import an existing cmsis dsplib example and replace the source code with source code from the .zip file.

(3) delete the project you imported and then replace the .projectSpec file with the one attached and then re-import. Please make sure you have the SDK installed here: C:\ti\simplelink_msp432p4_sdk_2_30_00_14\
