TM4C1294NCPDT: EtherCAT communication

Hi Folks,

for a new project I need real-time communication and I thought EtherCAT would be the proper solution. I prefer the TivaC series controllers, but I haven't found any guide to implement / use EtherCAT stack on TivaC families.

Can anybody help me, how I can design EtherCAT communication? Preferably TivaC series, but I also interested to suffer to another product lines.

    Hello Norbert,

    I did some research into past inquires and was not able to come across a single instance EtherCAT was even attempted to be implemented with our MCU. Therefore we have no solution to offer that involves an EtherCAT stack running on TM4C devices.

    That said, I've seen a few posts about users using the EPI to interface with an external EtherCAT slave device. Perhaps you can investigate that approach.
