Can you tell me if there is a pin for pin compatible 512Kb flash version of Stellaris's 256Kb # LM3S6965 ?
I would take a look at the pin diagram for the LM3S9D96. This part has 512KB of flash and is mostly pin compatible with the LM3S6965. There are some extra GPIO pins on the LM3S9D96 where the LM3S6965 has pins associated with power, but this can be accounted for. I would compare the two pin diagrams in their respective datasheets to see which pins do not match up exactly and which ones are necessary for your design. There are a few other differences between the parts, other than pin compatibility, that you will also want to look into to account for in your design. Overview the datasheet and the errata before choosing any part to see if it will meet your specifications.
In addition, there is an application note to describe the differences between Fury-class (LM3S6965) and Firestorm-class (LM3S9D96).
