I have Win 7 64 bit computer, Code compose studio  Version: 4.2.4.00033. I am working on couple of different Stellaris board through ICDI JTAG. One of them, I currently working is LM3S2B93 Rev C5

every thing works ok. But randomly and 30% time, when I hit the terminal all button, I see Blue Screen of Death. I have to restart every thing from scratch, I also have IBM lotus notes installation on same computer.

      Pragnesh,

When was the last time you did a software update to your CCS?  The version you are using may not have the changes needed to debug a version C5 of LM3S2B93.  I recommend you go to help in the CCS tool bar, and select check for update.

Is there any particular reason you are using version 4.2.4?  If not, I recommend upgrading to version 5.2.

I upgraded 4.2.5.00005 but it still crashes? It is not updating by it self to 5.2. Do I need separate license for that?

      Pragnesh,

Is your computer still crashing 30% of the time.  This could be a computer issue with memory space, and not a CCS issue.

I don't know if 5.2 requires a separate license, I believe it is transferable.  You should ask on the CCS forum at http://e2e.ti.com/support/development_tools/code_composer_studio/default.aspx.

There is nothing that communication through JTAG with CCS would be doing to cause the blue screen.  It is more likely that your computer is the issue, which typically is a sign of low memory.

I understand. But this happens only at the time of terminating the debugger for code composer studio so it must be related to CCS memory management or leak. I have several other softwares uses same Eclipse platform and GDB debugger or even AVR32 studio never crashes like this.
