      Hi,

There was already a similar post regarding .NET Micro Framework.

Recently I found that smallest Footprint of ".NET Micro Framework" is 64KB RAM, 256KB Flash.
And there was a statement in LM3S9B96 development board's document saying
"The LM3S9B96 development board is also a useful development vehicle for systems programmed using tools such as Microsoft’s .NET Micro Framework"

Does this means Templest class support .NET Micro Framework?
if not, do you have any plans in future, with new series.

      Thankyou and Regards.

I think that mean that the .NET Micro Framework consumes at least 64K RAM and 256K Flash; ie, in a chip with 64K RAM and 256K Flash, you would have nothing left for any application!

And there was a statement in LM3S9B96 development board's document saying
"The LM3S9B96 development board is also a useful development vehicle for systems programmed using tools such as Microsoft’s .NET Micro Framework"

      You mean the Product Brief:

Does this means Templest class support .NET Micro Framework?
Subject to the memory requirements, that would mean that they are capable of supporting it - but you would either have to find a suitabel port, or do the port yourself, or find someone to do it for you.

I believe there is a port for Stellaris underway. Last I heard, completion was scheduled for the end of January. After the holidays, we'll see if we can get an update on information.

      regards,
      Jean Anne

Our third-party design house GoldenIC has been doing a port of .NET Micro Framework to Stellaris.

GoldenIC will have a demo version on the Stellaris DK-LM3S9B96 around Jan. 25th. This demo will include:
      • Touch panel demo

      • UART for terminal

      • GPIO toggle LED, H/W buttons demo

Other HAL drivers (Ethernet, Wi-Fi, USB, CAN, I2C, SPI,...) will be implemented later. The schedule is not yet defined and can be influenced by committed customers.

GoldenIC is planning to license out the port for a one-time charge and they will provide a BSP binary file for use in the customer's Stellaris-based product. Specific driver development will have an associated NRE.

Hi, I'm really interested about this topic. Does anyone know if the . NET Micro Framework version will be the 4.0?
      Thanks

Golden-IC must know that - see contact details earlier in the thread!
