Hello, I noticed there is an iso 7816 (smart card) mode bit in the uart of the 9000 series chips. I would be interested in seeing an app note or example using this mode.

A smart card / ISO7816 example is currently in the pipeline, and will soon be publically available as part of StellarisWare.

What is the time line for your project?

My "paying job" timeline is a ways out there, 6 months or so, (we are currently testing with an arm9) but if I can talk my boss out of an eval kit for an LM3S9B90 I might give it some time at home. Would be a good excuse to try hooking our sensor up to the EPI, too. (see www.sonavation.com, product:sts3000).
