There is a new version of the FTDI interface DLL that has just been posted. This version has some fixes and should prevent a lot of the "Target DLL cancelled" error messages. You can find the update in the 'Software Updates' section of the webpage.

      Hello,
Does lmidk-agdi.dll work in Win98 with FTD2xx drivers? I have been trying to make uVision IDE work with EVB board in Win98 but I constantly receive message "Flash programming failed. Target DLL has been cancelled" no matter which version of lmidk-agdi.dll I use.

The DLL could work with Win98/ME, but not with the supplied FTDI drivers. You will need to download the latest Win98 drivers from FTDI and try modifying the INF file as described here:

      Hello,
I did it but nothing has changed. I am anxious about the latest FTDI D2xx drivers because, as you can read on FTDI webpage, even FTDI MProg utility doesn't work properly with these drivers in Win98! As far as virtual port drivers are concerned, they work fine.

Makes zero difference , still can not program the board or debug.

Managed to program the board once and step through the debugger, since then not at all.

All I did was modify the hello, example project to output a two line message.

Just keep getting the target dll cancelled messages

      Thats on my laptop
      fujitsu st5011 tablet xp 2005 sp2 1.2GB ram.

On my work machine(p4 3GHz(emt64) 1GB ram xp pro sp2 it just gives the error
      *** Error: 'C:KeilARMBINlmidk-agdi.dll' not found

when trying to download or debug.

dll is present in that location, but luminary micros doesn't appear in the target driver drop down box.

Board runs the programmed in example fine, I just can't program it with anything else.

      Alex
nb. this is with the EV-LM3S811 examples
