    Hello,

I am having had time trying to communicate to my new board with stellaris LM3S5R31 using Ulink2. whenever I try, I get a message that "Erro: Flash Download Failed - Target DLL has bean cancelled". I get this error both through keil ulink2 and TI's ICDI board.
However, if i use the LM Flash programmer - Build 1154 , I can program and verify the contents and the MCU works perfectly fine :)

Can anyone suggest me what needs to be done the keil side to get this working. In fact I upgraded to 4.2 and also change the time-out to 500 msec but nothing seems to be working!!

One more thing, I can not communicate even when I select Do not erase and do not program, ie there is nothing to be done, but still get this error when I press the download button!

Any help in this regard to much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

    LM3S5R31

      Hi Rajan,

Please let me know what revision of LM3S5R31 you are using.

If it is revision C5, refer to the following link for a work around with revision C5

      Thanks Ken.

      You made my day.

This patch works fine with keil 4.2.
Is there a solution for Keil Version: 4.03a? If I try to put this patch onto 4.03a then it hangs up the tool :(

      Reagrds
      Rajan

      Hi Rajan,

The patch is only for Keil 4.2.

There is not a solution for Keil 4.03a with revision C5 silicon.

      Regards,

          Ken
