    Hello friend

    I have a problem.

when I tested S2E with LM3S8962 EVM, but I cann't get the IP address by Finder or LM S2E Browser tools .

    So I tested another example ( C:\StellarisWare\boards\ek-lm3s8962\enet_io),

I could get the IP address from the LCD on the LM3S8962 EVM, and the example could work normally, but I couldn't use Finder or LM S2E Browser to get the IP address niether.

So what can I do to slove such problem?

    Thank you.

      Caspar,

The Finder.exe does not work with evaluation kits that have an LCD.  It was meant to be a display for kits without a display to show the MAC and IP address.

      Hello Lela

      Thanks for your reply.

I tested S2E by my laptop, it could work nomally, I could find the IP address by LM S2E Browser.

but when I used desktop computer to test S2E, I couldn't find the IP address by the LM S2E Browser.

I used three desktop computers to test this issue, all of them couldn't find the  IP address .

      Hi Caspar,

The firmware in fairly simplistic, and can not negotiate or handle security protocols.  Check the desktop computers for any type of VPN security on, wireless network, or other kind of network conflict.
