CAN message object setting for Receive
I am attempting to configure a CAN message object .I have LM3S2965 eve kit
I want to use one message object for multi ID's(receive).
I tried setting as follows.
set object 1 g_MsgObjectButton.ulMsgID =0x80; g_MsgObjectButton.ulMsgIDMask = 0; g_MsgObjectButton.ulFlags = MSG_OBJ_RX_INT_ENABLE; g_MsgObjectButton.ulMsgLen = 2; g_MsgObjectButton.pucMsgData = g_pucButtonMsg; CANMessageSet(CAN0_BASE, 1, &g_MsgObjectButton, MSG_OBJ_TYPE_RX);
set object 2 g_MsgObjectButton.ulMsgID = 0x100; g_MsgObjectButton.ulMsgIDMask = 0; g_MsgObjectButton.ulFlags = MSG_OBJ_RX_INT_ENABLE; g_MsgObjectButton.ulMsgLen = 0; g_MsgObjectButton.pucMsgData = 0;
CANMessageSet(CAN0_BASE, 1, &g_MsgObjectButton, MSG_OBJ_TYPE_RX);
but, this method is applied only the object2.
Multi ID's can not be set to one obuject ?
I do not understand setting.
yes can use the same message object to carry more than one message data bytes (upto 8 bytes).
you need to change the Message ID and Message data field for another message to define for the same msg object.
