If like me you ripped open the package and found that the "LM38S11 Evaluation Board B" driver won't install and complains of an operating system version problem, download the 1.01 CD from this site.

      Worked a treat for me

Do you happen to have the URL for the S/W update? Could not find it in quick look around.

      Thanks

I'm surprised that the driver on the 1.01 CD worked and the 1.00 CD didn't... The driver is the exact same :)

You can find a download link to the new CD at:

Is there an easy way to tell which version of CD was used to install a loaded PC (if the actual CD is elsewhere?) Which pieces are actually updated?

      Thanks

The easiest way to tell which version of the CD was used is to check the version of the Keil tools. The new CD (1.01) has version 3.03, and the old CD has version 3.02.

The main update to the new CD was the new version of the Keil tools. Most of the documentation is the same.

I didn't look, but I wonder if the INF file is different in the two versions, but the driver is unchanged.

Not too critical I guess really
