Sanu Warrier I am using such a low level protocol to avoid all the overheads that come with TCP/IP So, instead, you are going to incur the development overhead of re-inventing the wheel - including falling into all these pitfalls that have already been experienced and solved by others! If you feel...

Sanu Warrier I am using a low level protocol , when TCP/IP is used you are still sending the data in an Ethernet Packet so instead of a TCP/IP header and payload , i am sending just the payload . You can't send just the payload - you must have some kind of overhead so that the packet can be identified...

Hello, The application is a Modbus TCP/IP client where the are a Modbus Master that all the time is asking all the registers. The communication works perfectly, but when I connect the device in a hub, then lost some packets. First I thinked that the hub was broken, but I test with another dispositives...

Hello, The application is a client TCP. When the server wants to close the socket , then the applicaton receives in tcp_recv bute with the buffer NULL, then when I noticed this I close the connection. There is a way that I can to know when I received that the server wants to close the connection...

In my application, I need to send large amounts of data across the network. I am finding that the device (acting as a server) only sends packets out on about half second intervals and the packets are about 67 bytes long when probed with WireShark. The problem is that I need to send data faster than this...

Thanks for the response. I thought that might be it but I had run into this issue before and upped the stack to 1024, I tried 2048 but no difference. I have made a few more observations: 1. When the connection hangs the web server hangs as well. The rest of the application continues to function...

You can check the YouTube video, which shows lwIP v 1.4.0 running on the LM3S6965. This lwIP implementation is NOT the standard example shipping with the LM3S6965. Instead, it shows lwIP integration with the open source QP state machine framework, which is like an RTOS that allows running lwIP at a low...

Hello again, For those who helped me on my last issue with I2S, I am having more difficulties on the next part of my project. Hi, I'm using Uip TCP Stack on LM3S9B90 device - program is based on enet_uip example. I connect to the stellaris device via TCP connection from a PC for data transmission/receive and everything works fine for data payload of 1024. But when I transmit 4096 data - stellaris doesn't respond...

Hi, I am trying to implement a simple SMTP client to send email using the LM3S8962 eval board (CCSv4). When I connect to smtp.secureserver.net (which is not accepting mail) you should get a message like this (using telnet): 554-p3pismtp01-023.prod.phx3.secureserver.net 554 Your access to...
