TM4C123GXL and CC1120

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC1120

Have anyone tried to implement a network with TM4C123GXL and CC1120? I just cannot make these two kits working together.

  • Believe the record reveals there are many - smart/imaginative people here.  And - not always - do solutions result from such, "exact experience!"   (concede that it helps - but unlikely will prove mandatory)

Thus - famed, "Not working together" provides little insight into what "has worked" - and precisely what, "does not work" to your (unspecified) specification...

Realize you're frustrated - but abortive facts are not best bet to resolve any issue...

Thank you for your reply and due to my poor English, I cannot get your point exactly. By what I mean is that I found CC1120 is always working with MSP430, and no trial of CC1120 and TM4C123GXL including all the examples and document I found in TI. I am a total novice and feel puzzle about how to get start. I would be grateful if any could help me. THX.

  • Hi Crist,

Are you referring to the CC1120 boosterpack? If so, you need to verify pin connections to Tiva Launchpad as it might not be to the current standard boosterpack pin connections. If it is not pin compatible the you need to re-wire it by means of a protoboard or other ways.

Sorry, I am not using boosterpack. I am just using the evaluation board. And the first problem I encounter is not connection, but the fact that I just don't know how to implement a network with CC1120 and TM4C123GXL. Have you ever heard Thingsquare-mist? There's a recommendation of it, but I just still feel puzzle. THX.
