I have the TIVA C TM4C123gxl development board. But I don't always carry it with me. Is it possible to use a simulator or disassembler to view the binary code? If so how would I install and then use it. Thanks

Hi,
The toolchain used is not specified.
The alternatives are to use the tools provided by the toolchain. For CCS, these are: armofd (object file display), armdis (disassembler), armnm (name utility) and hex utilities.
All these are documented in the ARM-Assembly-Language-Tools manual, to be found in your CCS installation folder or on ti wiki.
If tools are GCC, then objdump and objcopy will do the same.
If Keil or IAR - search for similar tools.

The armdis.exe utility is very easy to use. At least I can see what the assembly output looks like Thanks.
