Facing problem in programming the Stellaris evaluation board by LM Flash Programmer through Ethernet interface

What I want:

To program the Ethernet enabled Stellaris evaluation board by LM Flash Programmer through Ethernet interface

What I am using:

- LM Flash Programmer

- EK-TM4C1294XL Launchpad

- Window 7 64 bit PC

What I have done:

- Allowed LM Flash programmer through Windows Firewall

- Disabled WiFI and enabled wired Ethernet connection. So now, there is only one active network called "192.168.1.11- Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller" and I have chosen this to be the Ethernet Adapter.

- Entered Launchpad's IP and MAC address

What's the problem?

When the "Program" button gets pressed, the status bar changes to "Attempting to connect", but nothing happens after that.

Hello Dhruv,

Can you first run the Locator App to see what IP address is assigned to the LaunchPad when uIP Example is run? And then use the same as the IP address in LMFlashProgrammer?

Thanks Amit! I checked my network router's administration page. My PC IP is 192.168.1.11 and my LauncPad IP is 192.168.1.10. But this time when I use wired Ethernet connection as Ethernet Adapter, it says "**ERROR**: Starting the BOOTP server! ".

Hello Dhruv

For this error I normally restart the LMFlashProgrammer and got it to work.

But the original issue seems to be troublesome. Is the EK-TM4C129 connected to the PC or to the Network Router?

Hello Dhruv

Did you try to run the Locator App in TivaWare to see if the LaunchPad is detectable on the network? I am just trying to troubleshoot the problem to see if there is an issue with LMFlashProgrammer or the n/w/. Also please make sure that the Flash is Erased...
