Tiva bootloader

Hi I’ve develop board based on Tiva TM4C123GH6PZ. I’m communicating to this board via FDDI USB to UART converter chip. The FDDI chip is connected to TIVA UART0. When the TIva is erased I succeed to download firmware vis the UART using the LM Flash programmer. I add serial command in the s.w. that activate call to the ROM bootloader. When I try to download f.w. to TIVA I’m sending the command that call the BOOT Rom and that try to download a firmware via the LM flash program but I receive an error message. I’m using an IAR development environment. I’ve tried this scenario via code composer complier but I encounter the same problem. Does anyone has an Idea? Recommendation?

Does you application code configure the UART for the update? Section 2.2.1 of the ROM User's Guide states: "When an application calls back to the ROM-based boot loader to start an update over the UART port, the auto-baud feature is bypassed, along with UART configuration and pin configuration. Therefore, the UART must be configured and the UART pins switched to their hardware function before calling the boot loader."

I’m not sure that I know how to do it. I’m calling to this routine in order to activate the ROM bootloader

ROM_UpdateUART();

I Assume that this routine configures the UART. How can I verify it? On which libery can I find this routine to verify it?

This function is described on page 267 of the ROM User's Guide I referenced in the post above. Note that in the description it states: ''This
function assumes that the UART0 interface has already been configured and is currently operational."

Anyway the UART0 is configured in my application. I'm acessing this UART to call the ROM bootloader
