DRV10987: DRV10987 shows no output

Motor does not spin. DRV10987 seems no output.

  • There could be a variety of issues so let's narrow it down:

    1) Check the board is functioning properly in stand-by mode by doing the following:

    -See if Vcc pin on board =24V. Vreg = 5V, V3P3 = 3.3V, check what Icc is, speed spin = 1.6V. Let me know the values.

    -If the part is a sleep mode device, then the voltage on speed pin voltage needs to be greater than 2.2V. Right now its 1.6V, so needs to be higher.

    2) Check if its a device eeprom  setting issue

    -Check if your device is hitting any locks. Disable the sleep/standby mode as well.

    Let me know first if those things help fix your issue.
