DRV8323: VGSH and VGSL voltage

Part Number: DRV8323

Hi,

What is the spec for voltage of VGSH and VGSL at VM > 13V?
The datasheet shows the spec under 13V of VM in P.14 and P.20, but the spec for VM > 13V is not shown in the datasheet, JAJSD42B.

Best Regards, Taki

  • Taki-San,

Sorry for the confusion, that spec should actually say "at VM greater than or equal to 13 V" meaning that the spec is the same as long as VM is 13V or higher.

The reason we specify only the lower VM values is because VM is used to generate the VGSH and at less than 13V there is reduced VGSH.

    Adam-san,
Thank you for your quick response and your answer. I got it.

Please let me confirm one more point. The datasheet shows that VGSL voltage is also 11V in typical at enough higher VM than 12V, but not 13V as same as VGSH case. Is my anderstanding correct?

    Best Regards, Taki
  • In reply to Isao Takigasaki:

    Yes you are correct.
