DRV8313EVM: DRV8313EVM RevB GUI Error

Part Number: DRV8313EVM

I have the same problem as described at

I have Rev.B board and the mods outlined in the above link appear to be in place: pins 4 and 5 of the USB connector are soldered together and USB connector case is connected to ground, just like on the pictures.

Yet, I get the same error that the original poster was getting:

If I click ok a bunch of times, I get a Communication Error:

What am I doing wrong?

    Hi Eugene,

Could you please try to resend or reattach the images you are sharing?

Have you tried installing the software on another computer?

Sometimes downloading and installing the software while not connected to your company's network or VPN helps.

Thank you James for quick reply,

Yes, I tried on another computer and there was no difference.

I am attaching the images with errors:

    Thank you,

    Eugene

  • In reply to Eugene Varshavsky1:

    Eugene,

I did not have an issue installing this on my computer, but let me ask a coworker who does not have it yet to install it.

In the meantime, did you follow all the installation steps outlined in the EVM userguide (URL below)?

    Eugene,

I got same error message as you have. We have developed a new GUI. Please send me a private message, I can share the new GUI with you.

    Wang,

The new GUI is the same version as the one I already have. It has the same file name, same size, and file-compare find them the same.

Running it had exactly the same error.

  • In reply to Eugene Varshavsky1:

    Euegne,

What do you mean? I didn't give you the new GUI yet. How do you get the new GUI?

You must submit request first. That request link may request you setup account and ask you few basic questions, such as who you are? Where to use? After you finish the request form, I can see the request from you. And then, I can give you the new GUI link.

The request link has been sent to you through e2e message and email.

    Best Regards,
