Hi All ;

Actually I finished my PCB design and I printed 5 boards working based on DRV8711 to control stepper motor, I tested almost all the functions , and I got very good results with (256 res. , 24 volt , 3 ampere, 300 khz)

for some reasons the 5 boards don't work anymore (because of soldering and desoldering many times, hard testing and etc.).

Then i decided to print 25 board and ordered 25 pieces of DRV8711 from Chinese supplier, no one of them is working !
Then I ordered 25 pieces of mouser and also no one is working !

It gives me 24 volt directly and continuously on the terminal of the A+,A-,B+,B- or some of them (terminals of the motor) , I tried many solutions and no way

I took into consideration of the soldering conditions, I changed all the capacitors around the IC and still give me like internal short circuit in the 50 pieces of DRV >>

Any support for our team will be very appreciated

there are many videos for our last results but i can not upload all of them

    From the schematic, I didn't find any issue. To debugging this issue, would you measure each DRV8711 pin voltage? So, we may find out the abnormal pin setting or output?

    Is the nFault pin voltage high or low?

    Also, can you buy an EVM (www.ti.com/.../DRV8711EVM) So, we can compare each pin voltage setting/output with your board?

    those are the results for two different cases. no problem to order EVM board,but the problem that my boards worked very good before for more than one month. it worked even with the prototypes, then i ordered 50 IC and no one is working !

    i tried all these DRVs , is there any problem in the stock of the market ?

    In this case, I would recommend you send few samples to TI quality team to see if those samples can pass ATE or not.
