I have a DRV8301-HC-EVM Rev D schematic.

but R2,R3,D2 is NP.

Is this not necessary?

Kwan,

Per the DRV8301 datasheet, this pin should be floating if the Buck is used. If you would like to use Undervoltage lockout, the resistor divider can be used to set the pin so that when it sees less than 1.2V, the buck will be disabled.

This is a Zener clamping diode which should prevent the EN_BUCK pin from seeing more than the clamp voltage of 5V if the PVDD is higher and reaches the EN_BUCK pin.
