I want to develop BLDC controller using above IC,can I use this IC without programming or programming is compulsory to use this IC .

If programming is require what software and burning tool to be used.

Programming is used to tune the driver to spin the motor. The only way ic can be used without programming is if the default ic settings can spin the motor.

Programming is done through I2C interface.

I think default speed is 0V. But you can set speed through PWM or analog speed control mode, depending on what the default eeprom is. I would suggest looking what this default setting is in the datasheet.

Hey Sayali,

DRV10983-Q1 may require programming but speed can be controlled from potentiometer.

If you are asking about t BLDC IC which doesnt need programming and speed can be controlled from potentiometer, I would look at the following:

DRV10974, DRV11873, DRV10866, DRV10963.

Thank you for suggestion the IC suggested by you without programming match to our requirement, but all IC are 12V range can we have same configuration with 30V to 60V range.

Currently we do not have a device that can be used without programming and use simply a potentiometer. Are you okay with using an MCU in your end product?
