DRV8846EVM: Decay mode pull down menu is glayed-out

Hi team,

My customer is using the DRV8846EVM. In the DRV8846EVM GUI, the decay mode pull-down menu is glayed out and can't choose it.

Could you tell me how to enable the decay mode pull down menu?

Do you see the following picture? Do you connect the USB from your computer to the EVM and setup correct COM port?

Hi Wang5577,

Customer can see the COM port correctly and they can rotate and stop the motor using GUI successfully.

They also can change the setting of Speed and "I FULL SCALE". The decay mode tab is only glay-out.

Could you give me any other advice to enable the decay mode tab on the GUI?

Saito,

Please click "ADEC" to enable adaptive decay mode. And then, the decay modes are available to be selected.
