    Madhav,

What specifically are you trying to test in the u-boot?  You can connect to the Pandaboard over UART using a serial terminal program such as TeraTerm or Minicom.  You should see prints as the Pandaboard boots into the x-loader and the u-boot.  You can press a key to stop at the u-boot and then run commands from the terminal program, such as setting the bootargs and checking the memory.  Here is a guide to the available u-boot test commands: http://www.denx.de/wiki/DULG/Manual  (This is not OMAP-specific.)

    Regards,
    Gina

I agree with you and I know that we can use the U-boot terminal and different command given in manual and i have tried some to check what happens or i am just playing with that commands. I want to know that  how we can use this command to check U-boot so we can say that our U-boot is correct or OK.

I agree that it is not related to OMAP .

    Madhav,

The main purpose of the u-boot is to do minimal initialization in order to load and start the kernel.  The u-boot also provides fastboot functionality so that you can flash the eMMC partitions of your board.  There is not a way, that I am aware of, to check that "the u-boot is correct", but if your kernel loads OK and if you are able to use fastboot, then I would say that there is no issue with your u-boot.

    Regards,
    Gina
