  • Hello,

You are trying to run Android on your platform, right?

If so then, the instructions about how to obtain and build rootfs are available in omappedia (see http://omappedia.org/wiki/4AJ.2.5P2_OMAP4_Jelly_Bean_Release_Notes):

    Downloading sources:
    http://omappedia.org/wiki/4AJ.2.5P2_OMAP4_Jelly_Bean_Release_Notes#Downloading_Release_Software

    Building the filesystem:

    http://omappedia.org/wiki/4AJ.2.5P2_OMAP4_Jelly_Bean_Release_Notes#Building_Android_Filesystem_.28AFS.29_with_TI_Codecs_enabled

  • hello Yordan

I just run ram on my platform.can you give me a link.

     thinks !

  • Hi,

I am not sure I fully understand your statement:

"I just run ram on my platform"

Maybe the question in my post was not clear.. What I meant was, what operating system are you trying to run on your platform (Android or Ubuntu)?

If you are trying to run Android, the above links contain filesystem sources for Android JellyBean (4AJ.2.5.P2) and instructions how to build the FS.
Here is a link with the prebuilt Android file system for all OMAP4 releases: omappedia.org/wiki/Android:_Working_with_pre-built_binaries

The Ubuntu release is verified only with SD Card boot (on Pandaboard & Blaze). Moreover, it needs at least 4GB, but if you need the Ubuntu FS, here are the Ubuntu prebuilt binaries: http://omappedia.org/wiki/Prebuilt_ubuntu_binaries
