How can i modify DSS scaler parameter?

Hi Expert:

My customer use OMAP4470 + 4AJ.2.5P2 release. They meed problem the video upscale from 180p to 720p, the performance is bad. Check DSS scaler register DISPC_VIDp_FIR is 0x0. We are worry that Android did not use DSS internal hardware scaler.

Now use omapconf write DISPC_VID2_FIR, force enable scaler, but the value can not be write to DISPC_VIDp_FIR, it always 0.

Could you please suggest how to manual method modify the DSS scaler?

Hi Han Tao,

Are the related DSS clocks enabled from PRCM?
Have you configured the display controller in smart-idle & smart-standby? Also you should enable wake-up for the module.
