OMAP4460 + WL1835 RF testing

Basically I want to test following for BT/BLE:

1. Setting different channel frequency over the band (BT/BLE)

2. Setting the Mode (Tx/Rx) (BT/BLE)

3. Setting the data Rate (BT/BLE)

4. Power configuration option (BT/BLE)

5. Frequency sweep option over the band (BT/BLE)

6. Configuring the signal Bandwidth.

I have added support for sending HCI commands using bdt tool in bluedroid following the directions given here.

I see TI has a user guide of VS HCI commands fro TI 256x. 

Is there any similar user guide of VS HCI commands for WL18xx module ?

Will the commands given for TI256x be used for wl18xx ?

HCI command for continuous rx mode is different for both.
And is the following link correct ? I am getting error , unable to open it.

Hi Yanko,

We are doing initial RF testing of WL18xx module. Observations were as (2402Mhz)

For test pattern

• 0=PN9
• 1=PN15
• 5=F0F0
• 6=FF00

We are getting output power as mentioned in the datasheet for all modes (BR,EDR2,EDR3)

But for patterns

• 2=Z0Z0
• 3=all 1
• 4=all 0

Output power is far less than that mentioned in datasheet for all three modes. 

What is the pattern Z0Z0 and how does this pattern affect output power or performance of the module
