Embedded Hypervisor on OMAP5

Hello,

Currently we are designing a Hardware and we want to know following information from Ti.

1. Xen (ARM Hypervisor) has been ported on Ti OMAP5(A15 series). If yes, could you provide the links/Documentation. Also we want to know if Jelly bean will work on Xen ??

2. Any other ARM hypervisors are supported on Ti OMAP5 Boards ? please list them if yes.

Thank you

  • Hi Vijay,

I didnt found  specific information how is done but this patch is related to the omap5 support of Xen

    http://lists.xen.org/archives/html/xen-devel/2013-08/msg01291.html

Also this patch suggests that it is possible to enable the hypervisor mode.

    https://gitorious.org/linux-omap4-dev/omapboot/commit/ec6558d42a21b1fdbcbeea9eaa50d5c3cfb6fe45

take a look at this mailing list, the guys there discuss porting for  kernel 3.4 ( jelly bean will work)

I am not authorised to provide that kind of information. You better contact your nearest TI representative.
