Hello,

We are planning to use TMS320DM8168CCYGA2 processor for one of our projects which is mainly a Video processing application. The input for processor will be mainly Decoded Analog Video ( YCbCr 4:2:2 format) or Digital HD / SD (BT1120 format )

I would like to know :

1. Whether software support ( in the form of libraries) is available the required Encoder, Decoder, Annotation and DAC ? If yes, then whether these libraries are built for specific OS (Linux / SYSBIOS).

2. We also need to know if  these libraries can be used with out any OS on the board.

Please revert at the earliest.

    Hi Naveen,

    The release, that I know of, for TMS320DM81xxx devices is called EZSDK.

    Detailed information about it can be found on the following link: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Category:EZSDK

    When you download the EZSDK, you can find some codec exapmles in the example-application folder.
